Message from Chairperson Lin Chih-Yu

Beitou is no longer just a tourist destination; it has risen to become a global trend, consistently earning international acclaim. American entertainment and arts news sites, the French Michelin Green Travel Guide, and the New York Times have all greatly praised Beitou. In June 2015, the Beitou Library was once again selected by the international website "WHEN ON EARTH" as one of the world's 10 coolest green buildings, further proving Beitou's prominence on the international stage.

Each year, the Taipei Hot Spring Festival showcases Beitou's unique charm through different themes, spectacular activities, international exchange forums, and exhibition booths, highlighting the significance of Beitou's hot springs in terms of history, culture, and international tourism.

The Unique Charm and Value of Beitou

Hot springs, tavern cuisine, and Nakashi street singing are known as the three treasures of Beitou, and they are the classic cultural experiences that domestic and international tourists love about Beitou. Each year's Hot Spring Festival, while primarily focused on hot springs, skillfully weaves all three elements into various activities, presenting their unique charm and value.

The Association makes its best effort to maximize and utilize Beitou's historical and cultural functions, bringing fresh surprises to domestic and international tourists, strengthening international visibility, and achieving breakthroughs. Using Beitou's image to market Taiwan internationally, the Association continues its sustainable operations.
